The Foundation for Democratic Advancement has ongoing volunteer opportunities in the following areas:
These positions have no fixed location; they are open to persons regardless of where they live, although internet access is mandatory.
As with membership, a basic requirement for volunteering is belief in the cause of advancing fair and transparent democratic processes, underlain by a belief in government directed and guided by the interests of the people as a whole.
An addition, it is essential that volunteers be objective, honest, open-minded, and non-partisan.
In general, a university degree is the educational background required of our volunteers. However, we are happy to consider combinations of education and experience, so if you have the listed skills combined with relevant experience and are eager to contribute to the FDA’s efforts, we encourage you to contact us about volunteering.
Required skills, along with a description of the volunteer activities, are listed below.
If you are interested in volunteering with the FDA, please send a resume and/or background information and cover letter to our address, or email the resume and cover letter (as a non-attachment).
The Foundation for Democratic Advancement is committed to ensuring the confidentiality of all private information submitted to it. The FDA does not distribute the private information it receives to any third-parties, nor does the FDA permit backdoor entry to private information.
